Greetings, Citizen! Welcome to my photo gallery. My name is Mike Wright, proprietor of M*E*Wright Motorsports Photos. I am the official photographer of the ARCA West Late Model Challenge Series. When not traveling with them, I photograph racing at other venues throughout the Northwest.

I am a lifelong stock car racing fan, ever since my father took me to the local track in Michigan when I was a boy. I have been a photography buff for almost as long. In the early 1980s, I decided to combine the two. I have been photographing stock car racing since then, honing my craft and technique over the years. Then in 2000, a chance encounter at Spanaway Speedway with AWLMCS promoter Jerry Losch led to my being taken on as the photographer of that series. I have been with them ever since.

My pictures have been published in several regional publications (Inside Track Magazine, ITWeekly, Northwest Motorsports Report, Racing Wheels Newspaper, Fast Times)and nationally (Late Model Digest, Late Model Racer.)

Being a longtime racing photographer, I have thousands of images taken over the years. Many of these will be of interest to racing buffs and historians. I will be putting them on this site as time goes on, so please check back often for updates!

While my main focus (so to speak) is stock car racing, I also do other automotive photography. Things like car shows, automotive portraiture, rod runs, fleet photos, and car dealer inventories are all within my scope. I even photograph motorcycles, boats, and airplanes. Like my business card says, "anything automotive photographed."

I am also available for assignments to photograph your special automotive event, whatever it may be. Please contact me for particulars.

While I do shoot with a digital camera, my photographs are in no way digitally altered. The photos you see here are exactly as I took them. I don't even own a copy of Photoshop! I believe in letting the photographs stand on their own merit.
